The second international workshop will gather students and teachers from both schools to start a research process on the notion of art and public spaces.
The idea is to choose an area of the city of Alexandria and collect all that makes the “flavour” or “sense” of the place: movements, encounters, smells, sounds, lights..through video , sound, texts, drawings…
The aim is to build a dynamic map that goes beyond orthonormal space representation, but rather reflects the complexity of relations between space and the individual going through it. That of the wandering, walking body through space.
The final aim of the workshop is to tell and share those experiences through the conception of a website using web documentary tools ( map/ geolocalization of sounds, images..)
